Fun BLOGS I Follow:

  1. This is a fascinating blog and a useful read for writers or readers. I am in the early stages of a blog on all things mysterious, including reviews, essays and, I hope, links to such other blogs as yours. I would like to review your blog and include a link. May I do that? IF so, how? I can be found at

I would much appreciate your assistance, as one blogger to another.

  3. Wow! Some great stuff here.

  4. Hello Tom wicked blog man! I don’t know whether you could help me because i’m currently doing a course in BTEC forensics science at college. We’ve been asked to design a specialist lab so i decided to do a specialist fingerprint lab. They’ve told me that i need to include a biovestibule but i don’t really know what one is? Also in the information that they’ve given me it says that i need to include a photo room? Please help me! Thank you for your time.

    • Hey Noah, no problem. A biovestibule is a newer trend in laboratory construction. It is a small room (no bigger than 10′ sq.) that leads into your room. Think of it like an airlock. It is designed to prevent the “dirty” air from the lab to get into the “clean” areas of the rest of the lab building. There is negative air flow provided by the HVAC that “pushes” the dirty air back into the fingerprint lab. So it’s basically just a small room you pass through to get to the fingerprint lab from the hallway. A photo room is just another small area or room where evidence can be photographed. A lot of fingerprint labs have their own photo room for convenience. It will have a copy stand like the one in this link http://forensics4fiction.com/2012/02/18/touring-the-crime-lab-the-photography-lab/. Good luck with your project.

  5. Thanks so much you really helped me out!
